Torbole (Garda Trentino, Italy) – October 18, 2025.
Another picture-perfect day at the 2025 IFCA European Championships Slalom Fin & Foil. Sunshine, warm temperatures, and steady winds between 14 and 20 knots had set the stage for a full day of Fin Slalom racing on Lake Garda. Two more eliminations were completed for the men, while the women raced six single finals, bringing both fleets to twelve completed Fin races matching their Foil totals.
In the Men’s division, Jordy Vonk (NED 69) extended his overall lead with two wins and a second place (discarding a third), maintaining a narrow five-point margin over Taty Frans (Bonaire), who impressed with a strong comeback and a race win, securing second overall and first among the Masters. Nicolas Prien (GER 7) holds third, just 0.6 points behind, while Malte Reuscher (GER 777) and local favorite Bruno Martini (ITA 160) are tied only two points off the podium. Sacha Fortune (FRA 751) remains top Youth in sixth, and Andrea Cucchi (ITA 1), second Master, has climbed to 11th.

For the Women’s fleet, rankings remain steady with Justine Lemeteyer (FRA 171) firmly in control of both Foil and Fin divisions. Femke van der Veen (NED 2251) and Charlotte Philip (FRA 191) round out the top three after another consistent day on the water.

After three days of sunshine, reliable winds, and world-class racing, the event once again confirms Garda Trentino as one of the premier venues for international windsurfing.
