Vietnam Fun Cup 2015

At the beginning of February the 16th edition of the Vietnam Fun Cup took place at Jibe’s Beach Club at Mui Ne. The Vietnam Fun cup is an annual event organized by our good friend Pascal Lefebvre. In the past we used to take part at this event, too and we always enjoyed our time in Vietnam and especially the Fun Cup.

It is very nice to see events like this happening, where the fun is as important as the competition. Another positive aspect of the event is, that all proceeds of the Fun Cup go to the Ham Tan orphanage and school for blind and disabled children. Through the donation box and registration fees for the Fun Cup, money is raised for this wonderful non-profit organisation.

This year the event saw great conditions, a lot of wind, a massive shore break and Maria Shapkina from Russia and Albert Pijoan Monne from Spain winning.
