Revise Age Groups:

The proposal assumes a re-alignment of age divisions for men and women – it makes no

sense to have different age divisions for male and female. The revised structure has already been adopted by Raceboard Class and is a proposal also to be voted at the forthcoming Formula Windsurfing AGM.

Master is a man or woman who has reached the age 40.

Grand Master is a man or woman who has reached the age of 50.

Veteran is a man or woman who has reached the age of 60.

Class Development

Under the proposals below, IFCA – under its current Constitution as a class association – would be responsible for, and manage, more than one “Class” as defined by World Sailing. In the same way that the Techno Class Association manages 2 “classes” (T293 and T293 Plus) IFCA can manage 2 or more classes

IFCA Youth Racing/Slalom Class

As the current Youth and Masters Championships structure clearly illustrates there is demand for titles in Youth Women and Junior, not just Youth men. To vote on proposal to introduce an IFCA Youth (racing) Class.
