Our aim when starting this Project was to draw more attention to the Türkiye Sailing Federation’s final race by including the IFCA European Championships, whom we believe are experts in their field.
Myga Surf Co was founded in 2005 and is the most extensive and largest surf school in Alaçatı Bay. Myga is the most comprehensive surf school in the viscinity with a windsurf school, kitesurf school, kitesurf summer school programme, Kids Club summer school for windsurf, a caravan park and a restaurant/cafe.In addition, Myga also plays a distributor role in Turkey for Severne, Airush, Duotone, Ripcurl, and Brunotti. Our primary sponsor Vakkorama is the largest and one of the oldest Luxury brands in Turkey, and have been sponsoring our races for the past 4 years.
The main reason for 330 participants to eagerly await the racing season last year was the various gifts handed out and the free food and drinks. Whenever the winds were strong the race quality also played a large factor.
Alaçatı is one of the most popular surfing spots in recent years, which when paired with the thrilling night life makes it one of the best spots for surfers, young and older, to visit. With it’s narrow streets which show resemblance to typical greek architecture, Alaçatı is most definitely a sight to behold. Be prepared for an experience like no other.
