Day 2 AT THE 2017 SLALOM WORLDS: All Tranquilize

A Calm day at the 2017 IFCA Slalom World Championships at Paal 17 in Texel, The Netherlands.

Texel welcomed the competitors with pleasant summerish vibes on the second competition day.
The competitors were put on standby right after the 11:00 o’clock skippers meeting. (4knots winds)

Local Adriaan van Rijsselberghe scheduled an Arrow Attack battle, Paint-Ball shooting and some Go Kart Racing for some of the competitors, while others got to enjoy the beautiful and special nature the island Texel has to offer.

Wind Foil testing was performed by Olympic gold Medalist Dorian van Rijsselberghe and French men Nicolas Warembourg During a light afternoon breeze. A perfect opportunity for Photographer Laurens Morel to capture a few amazing shots.

Tomorrows forecast predicts some winds for the late afternoon according to the locals. The Race committee is exciting and looks forward to finalize some eliminations in the next coming days. The skippers meeting is scheduled at 10:00
