FOIL SLALOM OPENS THE EUROPEANS IN TORBOLE

The 2025 IFCA Fin & Foil Slalom European Championships kicked off in Torbole, North Lake Garda, hosted by Circolo Surf Torbole. With 70 competitors from 14 nations, Day 1 delivered exciting foil slalom racing after light morning winds gave way to perfect afternoon conditions — ending with six eliminations for women and two for men.

DAY 2 – LAY DAY IN ALAÇATI

No wind today meant a lay day for athletes at the 2025 IFCA Grand Slam Slalom Worlds. The vibe was all about relaxation.

The Vakkorama 2024 IFCA FIN & FOIL SLALOM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS has come to a spectacular close after 4 thrilling days of racing in both fin and foil categories. 🌊🏄‍♂️ Alacati, Turkey, provided the perfect backdrop for this high-stakes competition, where 112 athletes from 12 nations came together to race and showcase their skills on the international stage.

Day two of the Vakkorama 2024 IFCA FIN & FOIL SLALOM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS delivered intense slalom fin eliminations in perfect conditions! 🌬️ After a brief morning wait due to shifty winds, the action kicked off with some incredibly close races that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, both on the beach and via the two live stream LED screens at Myga Surf City.

LARGEST SURF SCHOOL IN ALACATI TO HOST THE EUROPEANS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Alacati, Turkey, has long been a cherished destination for the Class, with its perfect conditions for slalom racing. The enthusiasm and talent of young windsurfers here make it an ideal location for the Senior Europeans, blending the energy of youth with the experience of seasoned racers vying for European Titles in Foil and Fin Slalom.

AMADO VRIESWIJK IS THE NEW IFCA SLALOM FOIL WORLD CHAMPION

Amado Vrieswijk won four of the six eliminations. He came third once and fourth once. However, as every rider can cancel their two worst scores in six races, the Dutchman won with the ideal score of 0.0 points and is the new IFCA Slalom Foil World Champion 2024.
