56 COMPETITORS SIGNED UP FOR THE 2017 SLALOM WORLDS

The 2017 IFCA Slalom World Championships Kicks off on the 13th of June

 

A total of 56 competitors out of 14 Nations and 3 continents are registered for the 2017 IFCA Slalom World Championships to be held in Texel, Paal 17, The Netherlands.

Registration took place throughout the day from 10:00 to 21:00 with the opening ceremony held at 19:00 with speeches and welcome words from the main event organizer, the Major of Texel and the IFCA Class President, followed by a Dutch style BBQ.

During the day a few competitors took the opportunity to final tune and test their equipment in the rough conditions which will make this championship a very exciting one to watch in the next coming days. The forecast predicts some lighter winds for tomorrow but will return in the next coming days.

Skippers Meeting is scheduled for 09:00, Let the races begin!
